The past year has been a whirlwind, having lost my mother and going through changes, while also making discoveries. Everyday is still a challenge. Though in the end, I am coming out strong. Life is too short to dwell on things that cannot be changed. We have to accept what hurts, accept our loses, our mistakes, and move forward. I have learned so much throughout this time and a few things I've grown stronger about is to be more patient in life, to love with all my heart,  enjoy what is present, not to be afraid of taking risks, and to create a future YOU want for yourself. I have so much to express, I am looking forward to sharing it with you all.
Although I've been on a bit of a hiatus, I have been working on new projects and continuing others! I'm slowly getting back into creating again. I am lucky to have amazing, talented friends who have reached out to collaborate, allowing me to get back into work mode, to be motivated and inspired.
With that being said, I have a few updates to share with you! First, click on the image above, you will be linked to my gallery where you can view any new or previous work! Next, visit my homepage, you will see that I rearranged the slideshow to fit my current work, work that defines my style. Lastly, I added a store page to my site! If you click the store tab, you will be brought directly to my Etsy shop where you can view prints I have available.
+ All of the images on my site are available for print. if you are interested in any prints and sizes, please contact me with a description of the image you are interested in.

Thank you for taking the time to view my new work and all the new changes! Please feel free to share!
Enjoy!

Support your local artists and go check out Out of the Blue at the Eleazar Delgado Studio in downtown Miami. It's my first show and I'm exhibiting two images from two different series, along with other local artists. The show is currently going until November 7th! Closing reception is that night, from 6-10pm. Go check it out before it's too late!

Family Fun | The Tripolones

In Spring of 2011, while I was back in Massachusetts visiting my sister, she asked me to photograph her and my nephews. I was excited and all in for it. It was the first family portrait I did. For most of the shoot, I just told them to have fun, to act as if I weren't there. It was natural and so much fun. I love capturing special moments with my family. Being able to stand behind the camera with them, brought out the beautiful bond she and her kids have. I love them all so much!

Looking back at NOH8..

In 2008-9 there was a silent protest created, NOH8, in response to Proposition 8 passed in California, amending the state to ban same-sex marriage. It was a campaign in which their mission was to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, social media, and visual protest. Joel asked me to photograph himself and his family for this protest. They wanted to add a different flare to how the photographs were being taken, so we had some fun with it...kept it natural.
